The firing of the gun itself is deafening (but awesome, don't change a thing), and the lever action itself is satisfying. The brass bits didn't exactly look polished, but if anything, that's appropriate in a world where not many people take the time to polish their guns. At first I was having that hit-or-miss issue with aimed shooting using the scope, but that seems to be fixed with your 1.22 patch.

The iron sights have a good look, and I like the scopes, especially the long range one. The barrel on this one and the stock do look a little long, but after looking at an actual Henry and switching to a regular barrel and stock, it's a good size. I'd always thought the barrel for the sorry excuse we got in Point Lookout 2: Coastal Boogaloo was too short. You got a ton of ammo, but it takes forever to fully reload it, yet you can do a partial reload (5 rounds) - which in some cases might be all you need to finish the job. One of the things I gravitated away from is semi-auto gameplay, and this is like that in-between. This might sound strange, but I actually like the thought of having to hit the reload animation multiple times to get it to fully reload (10+ round barrel sizes where you've fired more than 5 rounds). :DĪdded: I use Right Handed animation, BCR and Tactical Reload (Manual Reload). 6 shooters loading 6 rounds by hand, Black Powder reloads, etc) - though that would make the Double Barrel Shotgun actually the fastest reloading weapon in the game - lol.

This would work I guess if you went total overhaul and replaced all the weapons in the game with 1800's versions - which all would have lengthy reloads (i.e. Quick Hands and other modifiers) where it didn't look even wankier than what you have now. There would be no way to speed that up (i.e. As for the reload, a classic reload animation would literally be so long you can go to the kitchen to get a cup of joe, come back and it would still be loading the long barrel (18 rounds).
